i've been to a wedding last night " which i'm starting to do just for the sake of 3aib " .. i'm ok with everything in libyans weddings but one Q ( WHAT'S WITH THE LOUD MUSIC ???) .... the BIG deal is when they get zimzamat and a DJ so one stops the other starts !! with a super loud sound that u can't hear the person sitting next to u which leads to one thing >>> sitting next to the ppl u know and maybe happy to see but all u can do is smile and use the sign language !!!!!!!
and since it's too loud so basically no chatting and that means we eat, smile give the gift and go back home with a mini group of zimzamat as a copy of the ones u were sitting next to in ur head playing none stop till u fall a sleep after taking a panadol and a hot shower !! oh yeah that would be around 1 am since libya wedding never ends before 12 *_*
it's the price i pay for being married !! 3aib i must go ! oh GOD i miss the old days when i just skip it since mom is going !

Super loud music is hella annoying, but there is not much you can really do about it (imagine going up to the people that invited you asking them to turn down the music - awkward!) except try to sit as far away as possible from the speakers.
If I were you, I would hire someone to represent me at these types of events. Someone with excellent sign language skills.
LOL ... i always say that if i can find some one that goes to these events as me i'll pay whatever !

and that is another bad point outta loud wedding music that goes on and on none stop till the wedding is over !!
My hubby has this weird idea that women come home all hot and excited and want to have a wild passionate night after going to a wedding... I think he got this idea from his Libyan friends who are exaggerating!
After spending a miserable evening with unbearably loud noise, disgusting cold food, feeling uncomfortable in a dressy dress with equally uncomfortable shoes, all I want to do is go to sleep... forget passion! which of course usually leads to an argument... and hints of divorce. So weddings in Libya are definitely bad for your marriage!
